Back for the second year running, SilverStar Mountain Resort is once again holding the 10-day SEISMIC Spring Mountain Festival.

The 10-day event takes place at SilverStar Mountain resort from Mar. 13 to 22.

"The festival will once again feature sport, business, art, culture, culinary and community, making this one-of-a-kind event inclusive for everyone," SilverStar spokesperson Chantelle Deacon said in a media release. "Come up to SilverStar and watch as professional and advanced athletes hit the slopes and compete for over $50,000 in cash and prizing."

The festival will include an array of snow sports competitions including the Monster Energy Boarderstyle, SEISMIC Slopestyle, King and Queen of the Cross, Cliff Big Drop, Smith Optics Rail Jam, Showdown Invitational, Girls Park Appreciation Day and Frost Bike.

Along with all the sports taking place, the festival also hosts a wealth of things to do away that don't involve snow.

"Be prepared for live music, comedy shows, family activities and culinary events that will feature locally sourced food and drinks," Deacon said in the release. "Some of the amazing events the public can look forward to are Karaoke & Cocktails, Bourbon & Bluegrass, Culture & Cocktails, a Craft Beer Dinner and so much more."

A full line up will be released over the coming weeks.
