Rebellious Unicorns take drag burlesque show to Lake Country winery
A team of drag performers from Kelowna are delivering an evening of entertainment at a winery in Lake Country tonight.
Rebellious Unicorns are presenting Draglesque, a blend of drag and burlesque performances by the finest talents in the industry, according to a media release.
“Step into the enchanting world of Draglesque and immerse yourself in an evening of glamour, diversity and unapologetic self-expression,” the release said.
The “queen of curves” Mother Girth’s performance celebrates body positivity, while drag queen Ella Lamoureux’s performance epitomizes grace and sophistication. Dick James is bringing charisma and irresistible charm and Tintina Tundra will transport guests to world of fantasy and enchantment.
Draglesque is not just a show, it's a celebration of individuality, creativity and the power of self-expression, organizers say. Each performance promises to be a unique and exhilarating experience, pushing boundaries and challenging societal norms.
Doors open at 6 p.m. today, July 20, at Blind Tiger Winery at 11014 Bond Road in Lake Country. Guests can taste wines and mingle until the show starts at 7 p.m.
