Pig Out Festival returns to Oliver today
The Pig Out Festival is back in South Okanagan today.
This food and wine festival is taking place at the Cellar Door and More in Oliver between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., according to a press release from Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country.
Local chefs are making pork-themed dishes to pair with local wines. Tickets are $109 and guests can enjoy the full boozy culinary experience of all 10 chefs pairing their food with wine from 20 wineries.
“Expect mountains of juicy ribs, flavorful pulled pork, local sausages fresh from the grill and delicious sides and salads. Vancouver’s The Paella Guys return with a delicious pork rib and fresh artichoke paella, Rollands Meats will offer delicious dry-cured, hot-smoked British-style bacon served in a soft bun, and Chef Shawn Cheer from Arterra Wines will prepare red wine pork belly with umami slaw and crispy shallots,” Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country said in the release.
