O'Rourke Family Vineyards opens beautiful guest house amongst the vines
O’Rourke Family Vineyards in Lake Country is creating the ultimate winery experience. With two distinct winery venues on offer (one under construction), they are also now offering stunning accommodation on the vineyard in a custom log home.
Located in the middle of the 100-acre family vineyards, the Log Home Vineyard Guest House has five luxury rooms with stunning views of the lake below. Wake up surrounded by vines that roll down to the water with a backdrop of the classic Okanagan blue mountainscape.
The suites, Bear Master Suite, The Vintage Suite, The Loft Suites (two-bedroom) and the Harvest Suite can be booked individually. Or, alternatively, the entire home can be reserved for the ultimate family or group getaway. The gourmet kitchen upstairs allows guests to settle into a wine country lifestyle by creating meals after a local shop at nearby farms and markets. The indoor and outdoor dining options both create a cozy vibe from the comfortable furnishings and style of the inn. Inside, a large rock fireplace captures the relaxing ambiance and chill atmosphere. Downstairs, the long bar table can be a place to gather and taste wines or play games.
The Lake Country wine route, coined The Scenic Sip, has eight fabulous wineries nearby to visit. Bookings at the Guest House include a continental breakfast and wine tasting at Peak Cellars.
