New Year's celebration ideas for Kamloops and the Okanagan
New Year’s Eve should be about amazing food, drink, fun and friends. Here are a few more delicious ideas on how best to ring in 2020 around the valley:
Chef Alex Lavroff’s cuisine is inspired. He draws flavours from international travels, creating dishes that ignite his passion and wow the palates of his guests.
Former head chef at O’Rourke’s Peak Cellars in Lake Country, Alex recently left the busy winery kitchen to spend more time with his family so his fans will be thrilled to learn of this special New Year’s Eve Dinner event “Pop the Cork! A New Year’s Eve with Alex Lavroff” at Start Fresh Kitchen in Kelowna.
“Menu is getting posted soon.., I’ve put a lot of thought into it. I think this is going to be really special,” Lavroff says.
The dinner will be six luxury wine-paired courses, featuring exotic ingredients and the finest of Ricco Bambino Winery. There are two seating options available. VIP guests can enjoy views of the chef in action at the bar-top seating (limited availability).Check the Start Fresh Kitchen website for menu details and to book your seats. Event details: Tuesday, December 31, 2019 6:30-9:30 p.m. $175.
