To celebrate the second annual Beer Week in Penticton next month, some local brewers have come up with a new ale.

Penticton’s craft brewers recently announced the creation of Penticton Seven, a hazy pale ale released as a collaboration, brewed by the seven breweries representing Penticton Beer Week.

The special beer will be launched in early October, on tap at Penticton breweries and select restaurants in time for Beer Week from Oct. 16 to 24.

It will also be available in four packs of 473 ml cans at private liquor stores around British Columbia.

Partial proceeds of sales of Penticton Seven will go to support the B.C. Hospital Foundation.

The annual celebration of Penticton’s local craft beer industry began last year.
