Luminescence at The Delta Grand Hotel now offers globe dining
Dome dining is all the rage and timing couldn’t be better with COVID protocols in place: Enjoy the privacy of your own little magical space with see-through walls allowing you to dine outdoors in the wintertime.
Oak + Cru at the Delta Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna is the newest venue to bring this exciting dining experience to our food and drink scene. Luminescence offers four heated dining globes set outdoors with the property’s water feature lagoon as backdrop.
“We wanted to create an outdoor experience that would allow our customers to enjoy our beautiful patio and lagoon in the winter/spring months," said Shannon Buckshaw, Director, Sales & Marketing. “Luminescence provides a fun, unique and safe experience for the residents of our community to enjoy.”
All Luminescence reservations are ticketed through Tock and are subject to a minimum spend of $200, which is prepaid at the time of making your reservation.
The globes are available to reserve for up to six people – a bubble for your bubble. Enjoy delicious, crafted cocktails or choose from the Okanagan-rich wine list and indulge in Executive Chef David Foot’s special menu called “The Skillet Sessions”, inspired by Oak + Cru’s 8,000-pound signature fire deck oven.
The menu is locally-focussed farm to table cuisine and divided into three sections to plan your courses: Beginnings, Fire Deck Beginnings, Fire Deck Mains and Fire Deck Finish. For example, choosing one from each, start with the Fire Deck Baked Little Qualicum Brie w/ Okanagan Huckleberries to start followed by Smoked Sablefish w/Nova Scotia Lobster Risotto & Heirloom Tomato Cream and finish with an Organic Royal Gala Tarte Tatin w/ Home Spun Cinnamon-Vanilla Ice Cream.
