Jojo's Cafe serves up delicious food & big love to Osoyoos locals & visitors
Jojo’s Café in Osoyoos is one of those places that you fall in love with.
In 2009 owner Joanne Muirhead, “Jojo” built her dream, a place where she could exercise her passion for cooking and baking and welcome guests to her extended living room. Her gracious hospitality and charm have made her the local hangout and customers automatically feel at home in the cozy ambiance.
In her Jojo’s kitchen, she creates delicious baked treats, breakfast and lunch meals along with the traditional coffee offerings. Popping into Jojo’s is routine for locals and has become a return destination for visitors. Outdoor seating allows customers to stay and absorb the café culture that evolved during these Covid days and take out has created a new patronage.
Favourites here are the breakfast sandwich and turkey club, but there are so many dishes to choose from. Joanne has incorporated more choices for the health-conscious as well so those who want to pop in before a hike will be happy. The menu theme is absolutely perfect for picnicking too so picking up takeout to enjoy brunch at the lake or in a park nearby is a lovely idea. Or, pick up lunch to take long on your winery tour and enjoy with a glass of local wine.
Joanne has always been about supporting local, so her menu and coffee offerings reflect that philosophy, even through her décor which supports local artists with a rotating ‘art show’ on her walls each month.
