Beautiful South East Kelowna has become one of B.C.’s most exciting new wine and drink touring regions. Wineries, cideries and distilleries are set amongst the rolling hillsides dotted with orchards and lined in vines.

Nagging Doubt Winery sits on the highest altitude vineyard in the area, creating a very unique terroir for winemaker Rob Westbury to create from. This is a small, Garagiste-sized winery producing beautiful, handcrafted wines using minimal intervention. Rob and his wife Abbey live on the property above the vineyard and winery and are fully immersed in the lifestyle of the vigneron.

We are featuring Siegerrebe today. It is a cool climate variety that is thriving on the Westburys' higher elevation vineyard. It is similar to Gewürztraminer, offering up a gorgeous floral nose and is very pleasing on the palate. It offers a lovely zing of acidity and is low alcohol. This wine is also grown entirely on the Nagging Doubt vineyard and it is an exciting addition to the repertoire of terroir-driven wines created in the area.

Nagging Doubt WInery will also be at the Garagiste North Small Producers Wine Festival on August 18 at Sperling Vineyards. Last year the Siegerrebe was a favorite for tasters. www.garagistenorth.com
