How to eat for free on your birthday in the Okanagan and Kamloops
It’s your birthday but you’re strapped for cash. Not to worry, these businesses in Kamloops and the Okanagan are offering free meals, drinks and more as long as patrons can prove it’s the day they were born.
Denny’s
Start off your morning at any Denny’s location and get a free breakfast grand slam. The offer is only available for dine-in customers and you have to present a valid piece of ID to redeem the offer.

New York Fries
Next head over to New York Fries locations for a midday snack.
By signing up to be a part of the Fry Society Aficionado, an email subscription, subscribers can get free regular fries on their birthday. More information can be found online through their website here.
Starbucks
Subscribers of Starbucks Rewards are also entitled to a free drink or snack on their birthdays. Head over to the Starbucks website here for more information and to sign up.
Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews
For dinner, patrons of Red Robin can get a free burger during their birthday month by signing up for the Red Robin Royalty program. Those who sign up are also entitled to a free item for every 10 meals. You can mix and match burgers, salads, sandwiches and entrées.

Kelly O'Bryan's and Carlos O'Bryan's
These Irish-themed restaurants and pubs happily provide a birthday meal to patrons who bring at least one other person to the establishments on the day of their birthday. Since 2006, $1 from every birthday meal is donated to local charities including the food bank and Salvation Army.

Those who sign up for the MyBP rewards program get a free dessert on their birthday as well as a two-topping individual pizza on their first MyBP anniversary and a free bandera bread once they sign up.
