Get into the holiday spirit at festive food and wine events in Kamloops, Okanagan
There are many opportunities to gather together to enjoy food, drinks and Christmas treats while the weather is chilly in Kamloops and throughout the Okanagan this coming weekend.
See Ya Later Ranch in Oliver is offering a romantic fireside experience for the next three weekends, where guests can cosy up around a fire pit while enjoying fine wines and a charcuterie skillet in the great outdoors.
Located at 2575 Green Lake Road, the Fireside Experience is offered at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until Dec. 23 and requires a reservations that can be made here.
Priest Creek Family Estate Winery in Kelowna is offering their annual cookie and wine pairings, mulled wine and tasty offerings from The Spot Food Truck every weekend of December. Families can have their photos taken with Santa and for $10 you can get a digital copy of the photo mailed to you with half the proceeds going to a local charity. This weekend there will also by a holiday vendors market on site.
Located at 2555 Saucier Road, the weekend events at Priest Creek winery run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of the year. Go here to get a ticket.
Christmas dinner will be served at festively decorated Edwardian heritage house in Coldstream starting with an aperitif by the fireplace.
Mackie Lake House is hosting an event called Mistletoe Magic, an evening full of friends, family and food, complete with lights and music. The seasonally inspired three-course meal includes wine, salad, herb buns, beef Troutiere, carrots, potatoes and Christmas spice cake with caramel sauce and whipped cream.
Located at 7804 Kidston Road, Mistletoe Magic runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, December 1, and tickets can be purchased here.
The Colombo Seasonal Christmas party at the Colombo Lodge in Kamloops is back for another holiday season. Guests can indulge in a delicious meal and sip beverages while enjoying music and entertainment in a decorated, festive venue.
Located at 814 Lorne Street, the doors and bar opens at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Go here to get your tickets.
