Blackwell Dairy Farm in Kamloops is releasing a new Easter-themed chocolate eggnog for a limited time only.

The first cartons of the chocolate eggnog were delivered to major grocery chains in Kamloops two days ago and today, March 27, they'll be hitting shelves at smaller boutique grocers in the city. Tomorrow, the special nog will be arriving at major outlets throughout the Okanagan.

“It has that great spice of eggnog everyone loves with a twist of chocolate we all crave at Easter,” Blackwell's manager of operations Laura Hunter said. “It's so much fun and something new. We want to make it every year at Easter.”

They currently produce 2,000 litres of liquid milk product every day from their cows, as well as cows from nearby farms.

While the farm makes all varieties of milk from 1% to cream to chocolate, the eggnog is always a hit. Initially produced only for the Christmas holiday season, the nog is so popular, the company has recently expanded its production.
