Jennifer Schell is a highly acclaimed food and wine author, photojournalist and former editor of BC Food & Wine Trails Magazine. Her three cookbooks, The Butcher, The Baker, The Wine & Cheese Maker were bestsellers and have won numerous international awards. She is currently completing her fourth book, the BC Wine Lover’s Cookbook for Appetite by Random House to be published in March 2020.
Jennifer is the co-founder/producer of the internationally acclaimed Garagiste North Wine Festival, an event celebrating BC’s small lot wine producers that was named one of the Top Wine Festivals in the World in 2015 by the London Financial Times. She is also a Garagiste, creating Schell Wines, a winemaking project with her two brothers Jonathan and Jamie Schell.
She has a strong philanthropic drive and was co-founder of Soup Sisters (Kelowna), a charity organization that focuses on feeding the women and children at the Kelowna Women’s Shelter and the youth on the streets. She was given the Honour in the Arts award through City of Kelowna’s Civic and Community Awards.
As host and editor of iNwine, Jennifer is thrilled to share her passion for BC’s beautiful food, drink and farm culture and to introduce the members of its extraordinary community through her words and photography.
