Kelowna's Barn Owl Brewing buys bakery
A popular brewery in Kelowna's Lower Mission has taken over a bakery.
As of Dec. 1, Barn Owl Brewing is the new owner of It's A Bakery, located in the same beloved red barn as the brewery.
"We have retained their staff, hired an interim manager, and intend to offer the same or similar coffee and baked goods you have come to love," according to a Facebook post by Barn Owl.
"You might notice a few changes in the coming weeks and months, like a name change and being open Mondays, but be assured that the treasure that the Nierfeld family built, isn't going anywhere."
The brewery is located at 102-4629 Lakeshore Road.
