Another Kelowna restaurant to be featured on Food Network Canada
A Kelowna restaurant known for sourcing local ingredients will be in the spotlight for season three of Food Network Canada's Big Food Bucket List.
Hosted by John Catucci, the show will feature the Salt & Brick, located on Bernard Avenue. Filming took place in September 2020 and the episode featuring the restaurant will air Feb. 6, at 5 and 8 p.m., according to a press release issued by the restaurant.
On Feb. 6, both the Salt & Brick and Jack’s Pizza & Liquor will be featuring several of the items that are presented on the episode of Big Food Bucket List.
“Our entire team was excited and honoured to be selected as one of the restaurants featured in this season. We had been in consideration for the show for three years and finally they made it to the Okanagan this year,” said Casey Greabeiel, co-owner of Salt & Brick and Jack’s, in the press release.
Big Food Bucket List explores North American restaurants serving crazy, delicious food. Catucci learns about the restaurant and spends time with the culinary team learning how to make the restaurant’s signature dish.
Each restaurant will air the episode and are currently taking reservations for dinner and episode viewing for both the 5 and 8 p.m. showtimes, according to the press release.
Guests can book their table now by calling Salt & Brick at 778-484-3234 or Jack’s at 778-484-6994. Limited seating is available due to COVID-19 restrictions.
