One dead in highway car crash near Kamloops
A person died in a car crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near Kamloops.
Kamloops RCMP were called to a scene where a white sedan drove off the road in the 2300-block of the East Trans-Canada Highway around 2 a.m. on May 25, according to a press release from police.
The driver was declared dead at the scene. There was only one vehicle involved but police did not say whether there were any additional passengers.
RCMP are still investigating the crash and have not released any information about the deceased's identity.
If anyone witnessed the crash the RCMP is asking them to contact the Kamloops detachment at 250-828-3000.
