Police in Kamloops are hoping someone can help them track down a pickup truck driven by an erratic driver who is also the subject of an indecent act complaint.

RCMP were called at approximately 4:25 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, to report a pickup truck was stolen from the back alley in the 700 block of Battle Street at some point the night before, according to an RCMP release.

Shortly after that report, another call came in about a suspicious vehicle gassing up in the 200 block of Tranquille Road. The driver appeared intoxicated and allegedly exposed himself, and the truck he was driving matched the description and license plate of the one stolen.

The vehicle failed to stop for a police road block at around 5:45 p.m. on Ord Road and it was later seen running a red light on Notre Dame Drive.

The truck is a black 2018 GMC pickup with B.C. license plate PA5 11W. It has dents on the passenger side, as well as the front and rear fenders.

Anyone who observed the truck or has information related to this investigation is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-43037.
