Other issues on the highways involve compact snow and slippery sections on Highway 1 from north of Jackass Mountain Summit to Kamloops; Highway 3 has slippery sections between Princeton and Osoyoos; Highway 5 has slippery sections between Great Bear Snowshed and Surrey Lake Summit; Highway 8 has slippery sections throughout; Highway 12 has slippery sections the entire way; Highway 97C has compact snow and slippery sections between Merritt and Highland Valley Copper Mine as well as fog patches from Highland Valley Copper Mine to the end of Highway 97C; and Highway 97D has slippery sections throughout.

Charles Andrews commutes from Armstrong to Sicamous via Highway 97A. This morning the road was mostly bare and wet the entire way, he reported.
