It’s amazing what a driver sees on the road in Kamloops and the Okanagan these days, from questionable driving behaviour to funny predicaments, and vehicles in positions that make one question how the driver even accomplished it.

Driving mishaps, bad parking and quirky ways of strapping down loads provide for some comedy as long as no one gets hurt.

Recently, a truck in Kamloops was seen towing a camping trailer that was towing another trailer in an illegal tandem hookup. That same day, a car in another part of the city was caught on camera driving with the nozzle off a gas pump hanging out.

Some drivers were observed parked in very interesting places. It isn't clear just how, but a driver in the Okanagan managed to high centre her vehicle on a rock apparently because there was sun in her eyes, according to a social media post.

It isn't the first time vehicles have been caught on camera parked at the bottom of a runaway lane on Highway 1 in Kamloops. It seems to be a regular occurrence and one that never ceases to make members of the public scratch their heads.

Sometimes the way drivers secure loads can be interesting if not potentially dangerous. A car in the Okanagan was spotted with a large chest attached to the top of its trunk with ratchet straps attached to the back door handles.

Some drivers also entertain the rest of the drivers on the road by putting odd things on their vehicles. In Kamloops, a camper was spotted with a sex toy attached to its roof while in the Okanagan a trucker had placed a poster of Jack Nicholson from The Shining appearing to glare psychotically out the back window.

If you have photos of funny things you see on the road, send them to news@infonews.ca.
