Gas at some stations in Kelowna dropped below the $1.50 mark today for the first time in about a year.

The price for a litre of regular gas rose above the $2 mark last spring and even as late as October 2022, it was $1.99.9 in the Okanagan and only 10 cents cheaper in Kamloops.

Prices fell from there to break the $1.50 mark (on the good side) just before Christmas 2022 and again today, Dec. 19, reaching $1.49.9 at a few Kelowna stations.
