Gas prices on the rise in Kamloops, Okanagan
The relatively stable gas prices of recent weeks seem to be ending as prices edge upwards, often by 10 cents a litre or more.
While most stations in Kelowna were selling a litre of regular gas for $1.72.9 to $1.74.9 per litre earlier this week, that’s now climbed to $1.79.9 in most stations, according to GasBuddy.com. A few have gone up o $1.82.9 but Costco is listed at $1.66.9.
This may be a sign of things to come after the OPEC oil cartel cut production last week because of falling crude prices.

Similarly in Kamloops, while a few stations are still at $1.67.9, others have gone to $1.79.9 and even as high as $1.81.9. Costco, as usual, is the lowest at $1.63.9.
Penticton and Vernon were selling for about $1.63.9 but prices there have climbed in some stations to as high as $1.79.9 in Penticton and $1.83.9 in Vernon.
Gas in Vancouver is selling for about $1.89.9 and in Calgary it’s a bargain at about $1.47.9.
