UPDATE: Crash closes Highway 97 between West Kelowna and Peachland
Traffic is starting to move along a stretch of Highway 97 between West Kelowna and Peachland afternoon following a car crash.
DriveBC said the vehicle incident happened between Hardy Street and Renfrew Road closing that 29 kilometre stretch of the highway for over an hour.
At the moment the right lane remains is closed and DriveBC said to expect a 20 minute closure so the vehicle can be recovered.
West Kelowna RCMP weren't immediately available to comment on the crash or say if anyone had been injured or killed.
