The Coquihalla remains closed this afternoon.

With more than 70 centimetres of snow falling over a 48 hour period, the Coquihalla had to be closed last night and avalanche control work began this morning.

The Ministry of Transportation will be continuing avalanche control and clean-up, according to an update from DriveB.C., which says the next update is expected around 3 p.m.
