Police are tight-lipped following the armed robbery of a train in Kamloops yesterday.

The robbery happened at around 7 a.m. Monday, March 27, in the Brocklehurst neighbourhood, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP say an armed suspect wearing a balaclava fled the scene at Tranquille and Ord Roads in a white sedan.

Police aren’t saying if anyone was hurt or if anything was taken during the robbery, nor have they said what kind of weapon was used during the armed robbery.

RCMP describe the suspect as a Caucasian male, 30 to 40 years old, 5’8” tall, wearing a balaclava, black hat with a white Puma logo, black hoodie and black jeans.

RCMP are assisting the CN Police investigation.
