This Lake Country home is most expensive in B.C. Interior

A waterfront home at 12990 Pixton Rd. in Lake Country has the highest assessed value in B.C.’s Interior.

That home, now valued at $17.3 million, ranked number two last year and number one in 2021.

It's increased in value by $6.6 million over the past two years, according to data released by B.C. Assessment today, Jan. 3.

It was bought for $12 million in 2019 and was listed for sale again in 2022 for $22.9 million.

A house at 4358 Hobson Rd. in Kelowna ranked number two on the list of the 100 most expensive in the Thompson-Okanagan region.

At $14.6 million, it’s only up $600,000 from last year when it was assessed at the highest value of any house in the Interior of B.C.

There are 24 homes in the region valued at more than $10 million. All but one of them is in the Central Okanagan. The exception is a $12.2 million home at 12407 Coldstream Creek Rd. in Coldstream.

Out of the 100 most expensive homes in the Thompson-Okanagan, 95 are in the Central Okanagan. The exceptions are two in Coldstream, two in Summerland and one in Tappen, near Salmon Arm.

The most expensive single-family home in the rest of the B.C. Interior is an $8.4 million house in Windermere.

The home with the highest assessed value in B.C. is at 3085 Point Grey Rd. in Vancouver, assessed at $74.1 million.

The Pixton Road house ranks at number 156 out of the 500 most expensive homes in B.C.
