Rent on the rise for one-bedroom apartments in Kelowna
The average asking price for a one-bedroom apartment in Kelowna climbed 1.5% in November from October to $2,099 per month.
But, according to Rentals.ca, the price of two-bedroom apartments fell during the same time period by 6.6% to $2,592.
That makes Kelowna the 12th most expensive among Canada's 35 largest cities when it comes to renting an apartment.
Vancouver rental rates fell by 3.5% but are still the most expensive in the country at $2,872 for a one-bedroom apartment and $3,777 for a two-bedroom.
Out of the 35 cities on the Rental.ca list, Saskatoon was the most affordable at $1,109 for one-bedroom and $1,340 for a two-bedroom.
