A TikToker known for his Canadian real estate-themed content posed the question homebuyers keep asking themselves: would you rather buy a home in Kamloops or a castle in Europe?

Creator @MillenialMoron pitted a property in Kamloops against a historic castle in France in a recently posted video, each listed at around $3 million.

The Kamloops listing at 964 Fernie Place is a 3,500 square-foot home near Guerin Creek. It's on a flat bench in the West End, "awaiting its highest and best use," according to the listing.

Although the four-bedroom house is in a central area of the city, it sits on a large 0.78 acre lot, which also features a separated four-bay workshop, according to the Brendan Shaw Real Estate listing.

It's currently the third most expensive real estate listing among Kamloops homes.

In France, the 13th century castle, with renovations over following centuries, features nine bedrooms and three bathrooms within the 10,700 square-foot building, according to its listing. Its rounded tower and moat give reminders of its place in history.

Beyond the castle itself, it includes a pool, a hedge maze and two acres of park land.

Although not without some jabs at the Tournament Capital, the video amassed nearly 1.5 million views since it was posted to TikTok. It's part 20 of his ongoing series comparing Canadian real estate listings to European castles.
