A giant Italian-style villa in Kelowna could be yours for $6.5 million.

The 11.3-acre country estate located at 3420 Pooley Road is currently on the market, according to a Jane Hoffman Realty listing

The villa, meant for entertaining, has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and a chef’s kitchen with seating for 300 guests. The property is located at the same address as The Vibrant Vine Winery.

Vibrant Vine general manager Valeria Verholen said the owners are downsizing and selling the villa but this will not affect the winery.

“There’s no changes in the business, it’s just their property,” she said.

The villa is more than 11,000 square feet and constructed with “sophisticated southern European characteristics such as the imported clay tile roof, stucco walls handcrafted by European artisans, imported Italian marble fountain and imported German Beech wood floor,” according to the listing.

It also has a self-contained suite for guests, a solar heated pool with outdoor change rooms and bathrooms.

“The property provides a significant income stream with a long-term lease for the vineyard and land occupied by the very successful Vibrant Vines Winery,” according to the listing.

The property has a vineyard on it which has long-term lease agreement with Vibrant Vine, said managing director with Jane Hoffman Angela Coupal, via email.
