Kelowna 10th most expensive city out of 35 in Canada to rent an apartment

The latest report from Rental.ca shows the average one-bedroom apartment in Kelowna is listed on the website for $1,967.

That’s up by $23 from January and makes Kelowna the tenth most expensive city out of the 35 on the Rental.ca list. Last month, the city ranked eleventh.

Kelowna remained the ninth most expensive for two-bedroom apartments at $2,496, which is a $10 increase from January.

Victoria came in at ninth for one-bedroom suites at $2,000. Burnaby was third at $2,282 and Vancouver topped the list as the most expensive city in the country at $2,640.

All the other cities in the top 10 are in Ontario.

Surrey and Langley are the only other B.C. cities listed, coming in at 15th and 14th respectively.

The cheapest one-bedroom apartment out of the 35 listed cities is in Grande Prairie, Alberta, at $966.
