iN PHOTOS: The most expensive homes for sale in Kamloops, Okanagan
When it comes to the crème de la crème of luxury homes, Kelowna’s Jane Hoffman Realty is the go-to firm.
It has the highest priced listing in the region, Waterside Farm at 12391 Pixton Road in Lake Country.
It originally listed for $55 million but has now come down in price to a mere $45.88 million.

Jane Hoffman Realty has a price filter on its webpage that includes a category for those at $5 million and more, of which there are 17.
Those start at $6.28 million and six are marked as sold, including #10 – 180 Sheerwater Court in Kelowna that was listed at almost $13 million. The actual sale price from last November has not been disclosed or listed on B.C. Assessment.

That doesn’t mean other realtors are not trying to get into the high end of the market and that all those high-priced properties are in the Central Okanagan, but Hoffman has much of that market.
Her listings include #1 – 8888 Lakeshore Road which is 25 acres with 1,200 feet of unbroken Okanagan Lake shoreline bounded by Okanagan Mountain Park for $21 million.
It’s a gated four-lot compound with one house having four levels of decks hanging over a waterfall, a second home “integrated with a granite outcropping beside a cove at the edge of the lake” and two other building sites.
Two homes with 25 acres of grapes on Frost and Chute Lake roads in Kelowna are listed for $18.5 million.

At a mere $10.2 million, there is the 6,050 square foot home with guest homes and 120 feet of level waterfront access at 15686 Whisky Cove Road in Lake Country.
“Spectacular from the moment you drive through the gates to this lakeshore paradise on Okanagan Lake,” the listing says. “This rare and desirable 1.36-acre level property offers panoramic lake views and easy, level access to the waters of Okanagan Lake and dock.”
Another new listing is 4234 Hobson Road at $9.9 million with 0.65 acres of Okanagan Lake Frontage.
The 6,347 square foot home has six bedrooms, which includes a two-bedroom guest suite along with seven bathrooms, gym and media/family room.
“A wall of windows captures the lakeside oasis complete with ‘resort styled’ concrete L-shaped pool, hot tub, outdoor bathroom, covered kitchen area, outdoor lounge area with fireplace and entertainment sized covered and open patio areas,” the listing says.
Sotheby’s International Realty is in the higher end game in the region as well.
It lists 5146 MacKinnon Road in Peachland for sale a $6.98 million. It features six bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms with 7,488 square feet on 5.33 acres.
Unlike most luxury homes in the Okanagan, this not on the waterfront.
“Prestigious and luxurious secluded mountain view acreage,” the listing reads. “This private retreat offers tranquillity and scenic mountain and lake views. Close to skiing, mountain trails, wineries, world class golf course, walking distance of the lake shore and all your amenities.”
Sotheby’s also has a $7 million, four-bedroom, six-bathroom home with 7,577 square feet on 0.38 acres at 678 Havencrest Court in Vernon.
“Ultra-luxury residence in Predator Ridge Resort combines a stylish collaboration of elements, meticulously built, seamlessly blended,” the listing reads. “Open living area features soaring ceiling with breathtaking views of golf course and mountains through triple-pane windows and doors.”
In the South Okanagan there are three homes with a total of 14 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and 13,796 square feet on 160 acres at 1540 Marron Valley Road, south of Kaleden, listed for $5 million.
“A large covered RV storage, pool, hot tubs and a motocross track are some of the features of this gorgeous family retreat,” the listing reads. “Flat, fenced area available for horses/cattle or other animals/crops available. Mountains, nature, awe inspiring and breathtaking views, endless wildlife and unlimited space.”
In Kamloops, Point2 Realty shows three properties priced at more than $3 million.
That includes a 4,632 square foot, five-bedroom, four-bathroom home at 5025 Cammeray Drive for $3.25 million.
“Luxury acreage in city limits,” the listing reads. “Incredible custom home on a manicured 14 acres and 1,000 feet of stunning North Thompson river front.”
Available for $3.15 million is a three-bedroom, five-bathroom 6,948 square foot home on 0.345 acres at 700 Harrington Road.
“Iconic custom-built two-storey one-of-a-kind Craftsman home situated on a double lot with unobstructed views of The Dunes golf course,” the listing reads. “Welcome to this iconic almost 7,000 square foot home with 3,000 square feet of exterior entertaining area. Imagine hosting your guests, greeted by a waterfall as you lead them into the Great room with expansive cedar beamed 32-foot high ceilings, majestic floor to ceiling centrepiece stone fireplace, custom cabinetry, large 85" QLD HD TV with surround sound.”
For $3.125 million, there is the 5,607 square foot, five-bedroom, six-bathroom home on 4.5 acres at 1450 Capilano Place.
“Enjoy your own private resort in a prime location with stunning views and easy access to schools, activities and amenities,” the listing reads. “The luxury estate home is on 4.5 acres in sought-after Juniper Ridge overlooking the South Thompson River and backs onto parkland, connecting to a network of trails and the popular Kamloops Bike Ranch.
