iN NUMBERS: Tallest buildings in Kamloops, Okanagan

Whether you’re on board with more highrise towers bringing that big city feeling to the Okanagan or not, you’re probably going to be seeing more of them in the years to come. In case you’re wondering which tower is the condo king of the Thompson-Okanagan region, and how far off the runner-ups are, we found out for you.

1,000: That's the number of storeys, roughly, that were added or planned for Kelowna’s skyline over the last 12 years.

36: That's the number of storeys that make One Water Street the tallest building in Kelowna.

10: That's how many storeys apartment buildings on the way for Alexis Park Drive in Vernon will be making them the tallest buildings in town, higher than the seven-storey Polson Tower at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

469: That's how many millions of dollars in building permits issued so far this year in Kelowna.

900: That's how many millions of dollars make up one year in the the 10-year average for building permits issued in Kelowna.

281: Thats the building permit value in millions of dollars issued in Kamloops in 2025 so far.
