Exclusive Mission Hill winery concert series offers $10K balcony experience
The lineup for Mission Hill Family Estate's 18th Summer Concert Series has been announced, be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars if you want to see one of the shows.
The concert series includes Blue Rodeo on July 7, multiple award-winning singer-songwriter Jann Arden on July 17, multi-award winner Andy Grammer on July 31 and the Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes on Aug. 21, according to a press release from the West Kelowna winery.
“A concert performance set under the summer sky at our spectacular outdoor amphitheatre is an extraordinary experience,” proprietor Anthony von Mandl said in the release. “There is something truly special about enjoying a concert from this intimate hilltop location; a wonderful outdoor experience reminiscent of the grand performances staged at Europe’s historic open-air amphitheatres. We’re thrilled to welcome these exceptional musicians, and our winery guests, to Mission Hill this summer.”
A $10,000 VIP balcony experience includes up to 10 guests to see the show and a sommelier-guided three-course dinner. There is only one balcony package available per show.
Regular tickets go on sale for members on April 1, with priority given to higher tier memberships. The winery has three annual wine club membership tiers, the reserve membership for $200 to $250, terroir membership for $450 and the legacy membership for $650 to $750.
Tickets for the general public will be released on April 15.
The general admission standing tickets are going for $250, a ticket and two glasses of wine is $345, and then there are dinner and a show options for $425, $500 and $525.
