UPDATE: Vernon's Hospital Hill reopens following pile-up
Highway 97 at Hospital Hill was closed to southbound traffic due to a multiple-vehicle blockage earlier this afternoon.
Vernon North Okanagan RCMP asked the public to find an alternative route while crews worked to clear the road.
The highway is now clear, RCMP said.
The highway is the main link between Vernon and Kelowna.
DriveBC is warning of slippery sections on Highway 97 from Vernon to Osoyoos.
