An enclosed trailer carrying a classic muscle car was reported as stolen to Kelowna RCMP earlier this month.

On Aug. 12 the report to the RCMP was made and the theft was determined to have occurred on Aug. 9 around 8:30 p.m., according to a news release.

The trailer was under surveillance by CCTV and was taken by two individuals after they broke into a secured compound located in the 2000 block of Acland road, the release says.

The suspect vehicle is described as a truck of a light blue and green colour from the late 2000s, extended cab, GM dually pickup with a long box with chrome rocker panels and chrome side steps.

Kelowna RCMP received a tip on Aug. 13 that the car has been seen under operation on highway 97A in Enderby on Aug. 12 between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

The trailer is a white 2001 enclosed Pace America, with a sticker reading “Honda Racing’ on the side, with a British Columbia licence plate reading 99653K.

The muscle car is described as a maroon 1969 chevrolet Chevelle dragster with a British columbia license plate reading SJ939J.

RCMP are asking for the public to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference file number 2024-46431 if this vehicle is spotted or if any information is known.
