West Kelowna RCMP have confirmed one person died in the car crash on Highway 97 south of Peachland yesterday.

Police are still investigating the crash that happened in the 1600-block of Highway 97 but RCMP and BC Coroner confirmed the death, according to a press release from RCMP.

Since the investigation is ongoing police are not releasing the identity of the person killed to provide the family some privacy.
