Police have released a photo of an unidentified motorized scooter rider who was involved in a crash that sent another motorized scooter rider to hospital.

Officers responded to the collision in the 800-block of Ellis Street around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, according to an RCMP media release.

One male had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital but the other rider left before police arrived.

The unidentified scooter rider was heading north on Ellis Street and police believe he was slim, short, wearing a helmet and a camouflage jacket and was riding a black and orange scooter.

RCMP recently received photos of the rider who fled the scene and hope the public can help identify him.
