iN PHOTOS: Fun fall veggies emerge from gardens in Kamloops, Okanagan
The autumn season is underway and harvest time is coming to an end for gardeners in Kamloops and the Okanagan, but not without a last batch of strange looking vegetables appearing.
A lot of veggies take on the appearance of something naughty, creating some light-hearted laughter in the gardening community.
Kamloops gardener Joleen Anderson recently found a squash in her garden that had a busty look to it after partly dividing in two as it matured.
“I was so excited to show it to my family,” she said. “I knew my boys would laugh, I definitely had a little chuckle all by myself out in the garden.”
There seem to be plenty of carrots growing in twisted formations, bizarrely shaped potatoes, and tomatoes with strange protrusions creating comical harvest surprises.
