The Kamloops Chapter of the BCSEA, Transition Kamloops and the TRU Sustainability Office are excited to partner to bring Tim Nash, the Sustainable Economist, to present on Sustainable Investing. Tim is a leading Canadian expert on socially responsible investing, impact investing, and the green economy. He will be videoconferencing live from his office in Toronto on how you can put your investments to work for both compelling returns and positive impact for a sustainable future. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A with Tim, and small group exercises to digest what was discussed. Bio of Tim Nash: Founder of Good Investing and blogs as The Sustainable Economist. As an expert on socially responsible investing, impact investing, and the green economy, he is regularly featured in publications such as CBC’s The National, BNN Bloomberg’s Market Call, and the Globe and Mail. He earned his BA in Economics from Dalhousie University (Canada) and his Master's in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology (Sweden). He was the treasurer of the Ontario Nonprofit Network where he chaired the finance and audit committees. He is the lead researcher for Ethical Market’s Green Transition Scoreboard® research report, which details more than $9.3 trillion of private investments in the global green economy.
