Event Description

The 15th Annual Swing for the Cure Charity Golf Tournament in support of JDRF sees 144 golfers, 30 sponsors and 20 volunteers come together in support of finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. Rick Rainville, the tournament organizer, knows first hand the effects of T1D as both his daughter and niece live with type 1. In the 15 years that Rick has run Swing Fore the Cure, the Kamloops community has come together to raise just under $400,000 for JDRF. Your support this year will go towards Rick's goal of raising more than $40,000 in 2019!
