Free concert in Gyro Park at the foot of Main Street. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Suz ’n Jonny's Blues Band is a hard driving live act from Kamloops that combines years of experience and a sophisticated musical background to create an experience that audiences won't soon forget, covering everything from classic songs of the fifties and sixties to more contemporary selections, as well as, original songs. Suzi Rawn was a fourth place contestant on Canadian Idol and has reached the stage in her career where she can cross easily between many different styles while still maintaining her signature sound and presence on the stage. Jon Treichel is the guitarist and arranger behind many successful BC bands and recordings over the last thirty years. Jon and Suzi have written, recorded and performed together for many years and their on stage connection brings their music to life for new audiences everywhere they go.
