Join us for Slackwater Sessions Vol. 5 on August 31st for the rockin' sounds of Mason Burns, free of charge! Astounding guitar licks, timeless vocals and a look and presence that will take you back to the golden era of Rock and Roll. Mason Burns is known for emotional,fun and entertaining performances both as a solo artist or with his band (The Mason Burns Band) and has polished his craft to a level that will leave you wanting more. His original music is very reminiscent of the 60's and 70's yet has a new and current vibe. Mason's re-inventions of some of rocks best classics are thoughtfully energetic and true to their roots,yet sound fresh and original in his interpretations. At 23 Mason has built a resume that is solid and profound. He has opened for Canadian rock legends Finger 11, 54/40,Trooper and April Wine. He has traveled to Myanmar and headlined a show at The Hard Rock Cafe Yangon and was a headliner at one of Asia's most esteemed music venues Yangon Yangon where he performed for a benefit concert aiding rural flood victims. He has sold out 2 shows at Penticton's premier venue The Dream Cafe and routinely sells out many other Okanagan venues. He has played one of Vancouver's premier blues venues, The Fairview Pub as well as The Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam BC. Recently back from Copenhagen he was warmly received as a headliner at The Mojo Blues Bar, a rock and blues venue that has hosted the likes of Eric Clapton, and is one of the premier rock/blues venues in Europe. With 4 songs currently on Apple Music and Spotify as the lead-ups to the release of his self titled album and a video to be released shortly for his single Sunset Eyes, Mason has more international and North American touring planned for the near future.
