They have been compared to the likes of Nirvana, Faith No More, Mastodon, and Alice in Chains. With multiple Canadian Tours under their belt and highlights such as two showcase dates at CMW, a performance in Stanley Park at the Oasis Rock n Roll Marathon, and opening sets for acts such as Electric Six, Dead Quiet, We Hunt Buffalo & Daniel Wesley, Secondhand Habit has been able to rock audiences all over Canada. After successfully kickstarting their EP "From The Ashes", it was released on June 1st 2017 to much critical praise. It was followed up with the hard hitting blues fueled single "Bad Habit" exactly one year later on June 1st 2018. They continued performing through 2018 and released their newest grunge inspired single “Hey” on July 12th 2019. Armed with high energy riffs, wicked solos, killer drum beats and an unmistakable groove Secondhand Habit is ready to take on the world!! Damsel (Vancouver) Heavily influenced by hard rock from the 70s, 80s and 90s, Damsel is a high energy, performance driven rock band that is focused on fist pumping riffs and heart pounding beats that are sure to catch any crowds’ attention. Formed in 2018, Damsel spent their inaugural year making a name for themselves in bars and clubs in Vancouver and the surrounding area, seeing every show as an opportunity to improve musically and as performers. Their constant strive for improvement is evident with every show they play. Damsel’s sound is built on flashy guitar solos, catchy hooks and powerful vocals. Their songs are reminiscent of when rock shows were meant to be nothing but a good time, and their performances hammer this point home. Tasteful amounts of high kicks, hair flips, choreographed stage moves and crowd engagement ensure that the emphasis is on a fun show that anyone will be sure to talk about for weeks to come.
