CALL AHEAD AS THIS EVENT IS STILL TBD. This weekend come out and watch: Avion RS1 & Avion Sprints. CALL ahead to ensure tickets are open for spectators. On Sept 5 we will have: Drift Union Matsuri. EDGE OF YOUR SEAT, FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT…SINCE 1969! Penticton Speedway is a quarter-mile paved oval racetrack located up Carmi avenue…just 5 minutes past the hospital. The season runs from April to October every year and provides outdoor entertainment that is affordable, fun, and downright unforgettable! Here is a breakdown of race events: o Eve of Destruction - where hit-to-pass cars pull boats and travel trailers seeking to destroy one another to take the lead position, creating tons of carnage on the track! o Flying Destruction - where multiple cars launch over a ramp at full speed through a motorhome! o Stockcar racing - 5 classes of cars: hornets, streetstocks, hit-to-pass, vintage racers, and latemodels. o Ask us about private rentals, weekday “Arrive and Drive” Go-Karts, plus our “Race Experience” packages (lessons / driving school / ride-along options) There is bleacher seating for up to 4000 people plus a tailgate section where people bring their own tents, fire pits, BBQs etc and watch the races from the tailgates of their trucks. Bring your own cushions and umbrellas for shade for the bleachers. There is free parking, a full concession, 50-50 sales for local charities, race-car rentals, merchandise, camping, and more. There are no beer gardens on site. In the “pit-stop” concession you’ll find homemade burgers from scratch, hand-cut fries, poutines, pizza, chicken strips, fresh milkshakes, hot popcorn with real butter and much more! Make sure your visit to Penticton includes a trip to Penticton Speedway!
