Event Description
Presented by Numa Somatics & Balu Yoga with Trevor Yelich Sunday, Nov. 24 | 1:30 - 4:30 pm | $50 An opportunity to just be you - in a way that may redefine who you think you are. It's a journey inwards with your breath as guide and healer to open and clear the pathways to health and well-being on all levels of your being. It's an exploration of the continuum of your body, beliefs, emotions, and those impossible to describe numinous realms. It's a dynamic, conscious breathwork practice strategically blended with movement explorations, bodywork, inquiry, and sound healing (via didgeridoo, medicine drums, shakers, tibetan bowls, and more) to support the resolution and integration of stagnant physical, mental, and emotional states while providing deep nourishment and relaxation. It's an experiential and powerful catalyst for personal transformation *No previous experience required* Trevor Yelich: Trevor has explored and studied a wide array of bodymind practices and healing arts over the past 22 years. The richness of these studies, the gamut of his life experiences, and a deep curiosity about the seamlessly inter-connected mechanisms of mind and body have led to an increasingly integrated approach to healing. Trevor has a diploma in Acupuncture and has also studied Conscious Connected Breathwork, Chi Nei Tsang (Visceral/Abdominal Massage), Acutonics® Vibrational Healing, Thai Massage, and Bodynamics Somatic Psychotherapy. His perspective on healing practices has also been greatly influenced by a myriad of experiences with numerous personal and spiritual growth group processes, North American and Peruvian Shamanism, and a wide range of personal practices including Shaolin Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Qigong, Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Jnana Yoga, Vipassana and other forms of meditation, Contact Improvisation, and Continuum Movement. Deeply interested in trauma and its resolution, he is currently expanding his studies in Somatic Experiencing. In addition to his therapeutic work, Trevor has taught Yoga for 15 years, co-developed and co-facilitated numerous 200-hour yoga teacher trainings for both Trinity Yoga and Gaiatri Yoga, and in recent years developed and facilitated Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator trainings and Numa Somatics Facilitator trainings. Trevor has had the blessing of sharing these trainings and related workshops all across Canada as well as leading yoga retreats in Canada, Costa Rica, and Peru. $50 Refund Policy: Refund of 100% is available up to 3 weeks prior to training. Refund of 75 % is available up to 2 weeks prior to training. Less the 2 weeks (14 days) no refund available.
