Summer just got hotter! Enjoy live music with sipping awarded wine and Woodward Cider Co craft apple cider in the Privato Event Gardens Music in the Vineyard Friday Night Fests Every second Friday, June 5th-August 28th come on down to Privato for a garden party like no other! Surprise your senses, surrounded by the unmatched beauty of the Privato Event Gardens, while sipping wine or Woodward Cider Co and listening to the sweet sounds of our exciting lineup of musicians. Each event will have a food truck in attendance so you can enjoy stellar local dinner cuisine while enjoying the show. (Accordingly no outside food or drink will be permitted) These events are festival style seating, please bring a lawn chair or blanket for your comfort. Music plays from 6pm-9pm in the Privato Event Gardens, Tickets available through Eventbrite. These events are 19+ only, ID may be required to enter. Be sure to bring your e-ticket to the gate for entry. Tickets are available for pre-sale until May 15th- be sure to purchase your tickets early as these events do regularly sell out. No refunds unless the show is cancelled by the vendor. Richard Graham’s Backbeats August 14th 6pm-9pm 19+ Welcome to New Orleans, the birthplace of Jazz and Blues. Hailing from Westsyde, Richard Graham and his Bourbon Street Backbeats transport you to the French Quarter with their swinging, stomping, syncopated sounds. Richard Graham's Backbeats are a stylish performance group from the Thompson-Okanagan. Graham's band fuses driving New Orleans street beats and powerful R&B complemented by soulful vocals of the drumming front man. The Backbeats were the feature act at the 2019 Mayor's Gala for the Arts in Kamloops BC. As an independent journeyman musician and entertainer, Richard Graham has supported a range of acts from Harlem jazz legend Ray Brown, Colin James and Corb Lund, to legacy rock acts Blue Oyster Cult and Lou Gramm. In 2018 Graham performed four services for the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra with Canadian fiddler Ashley MacIsaac. Richard also performed at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival in 2016. Drawing from his family roots of boogie woogie piano, blues guitar, violin and drums, Richard grew up singing harmonies with his parents and siblings leading him to US and Canadian tours in his late teens and early twenties.-Shuswaptourism..ca Catering this Music in the Vineyard event will be Eats Amore Food Truck, offering a delightful and always delicious Italian inspired menu with a focus on fresh and local ingredients. Gluten free and vegetarian options will be available. No outside food or drink will be permitted, please support your local food trucks.
