CLASS DETAILS Kids can create a tribute to their furry friends - regardless of skill level. A professional artist walks through painting techniques to get your pet’s features right. . Paint your dog, bird, iguana, or pig – we love ‘em all. This event is for ages 6/ 7+. STEP. 1 Send us a Photo Email us a bright, clear digital photo: uncluttered backgrounds work best. This ensures your pet’s proportions are correct in the finished product. Email to info@meikle.studio with event date in the subject line. DUE JULY 19 STEP. 2 Customized Canvas Using your photo, we print a gray scale outline of your pet onto a 11"" x 14"" canvas. The canvas and a custom paint palette are ready when you arrive. STEP. 3 Paint your Pet Portrait You paint the portrait, but our artist teaches you the techniques. You will learn how to paint backgrounds, realistic fur, and little wet noses.
