Event Description

This November the Library has partnered with Foundry Penticton and South Okanagan Women in Need Society to host a Sock & Warm Item Drive! The drive is Harry Potter-themed, using a well-known House Elf character to encourage our patrons to support women and youth in during the chilly winter season. Items we accept: new socks, scarves, hats, and glovs How it works: - Come into the Library - Drop off a new warm item - Grab one of our custom-made P.L.E.W. (Penticton Library for Elfish Welfare) buttons - Share the drive with family, friends, coworkers, and others in the community! Thank you, Penticton!
