Event Description

OPENING RECEPTION: Friday September 20, 5 - 8 pm "Images from my new home." ~Bill Before moving to British Columbia in 2013 my visual concept, like many others, was of a landscape exclusively of towering snow-capped mountains. As a photographer, new to British Columbia, I eagerly embarked on trips throughout the province to photograph the majestic mountains. It didn’t take long to realize that British Columbia has an extremely diverse variety of land and seascapes from the coastal regions to the rain forests to plateau regions to the interior. “Exploring British Columbia” is a collection of some of the images from my initial travels. I feel that I have just started my visual journey of my new home. BILL FELL… began his photography career in Ontario in the mid 1980’s. He designed and taught photography courses at both the high school and college level. Also, as sole proprietor of Fell Photography, he guided and taught kayak/photography courses on Georgian Bay (Lake Huron). Each negative and print is hand processed in his darkroom to archival standards. The finished image is matted and framed by Bill using the highest quality acid free materials. Bill moved to Sun Peaks in 2013 where he continues to photograph the land and seascapes of British Columbia.
