Event Description
Hit songs that hit the spot, from a one-of-a-kind live music assembly line: Wielding live wires and pulling no punchlines, Devon More Hits Like a Girl as she one-hit wonders about executive disfunction and cracks jokes about her personal, paradoxical bout with brain damage. Catch the premiere of Devon's latest immersive musical storytelling spectacle to launch Chimera Theatre Collective's 2nd annual 2019 Hydra Performing Arts Festival: Thursday May 23 @ 8pm Saturday May 25 @ 2pm Sunday May 26 @ 7:45pm Tickets $15. TRU's Actors Workshop Theatre is centrally located on campus in the Old Main building. Festival button ($2/one-time) required for all Hydra shows. Multi-instrumentalist Devon More uses a loop pedal to weave songs and stories into a hypnotic soundscape featuring strangely contagious musical arrangements inspired by moments of great impact. Catch this brand new work in Devon's hometown before it disappears to Fringe Festival appearances in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Regina.
