Event Description
Community of Practice: a model of professional learning in which educators meet regularly to critically reflect on knowledge, experiences, values, and practice. By engaging with pedagogical narrations, educators share, discuss and challenge ideas and practices. Resources (readings, articles and books) are provided to support the discussions. These sessions invite educators to think deeply about issues and moments from their practice not to find answer or ‘truths’ but to generate richer, meaningful pedagogical understandings.” (pg. 101, Early Learning Framework) Professional Development Credits: 1hr Maximum group size: 6 participants Resources Provided: Early Learning Framework 2019 and handouts as needed Registration Required: please call 250-762-3536 or email resource@childhoodconnections.ca to book your spot
